It boasts superior performance with the powerful Intel Core i7-13700H processor and offers the choice of optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 or RTX 4070 graphics, ensuring impressive visuals and seamless usage.
The illuminated keyboard with a sleek design enables efficient working in dimly lit surroundings and includes a numerical keypad for swift input of numbers. Noteworthy is the large 15.5 x 10.0 cm touchpad, which can be deactivated by tapping with two fingers on the upper left corner to prevent typing errors. Alternatively, only the right half can be disabled with a double tap on the upper right corner.
The laptop’s interior boasts an 80 Wh lithium polymer battery, along with two upgradeable slots that support up to 64 GB DDR4-3200 MHz RAM. Additionally, there are two M.2 SSD slots (PCI-Express 4.0 x4) that can accommodate storage capacity of up to 4 terabytes. The cooling system comprises two slim fans and copper heat pipes, responsible for effectively dissipating heat generated by the device’s components.
14 CORES FOR CUTTING-EDGE PERFORMANCE
Featuring 14 CPU cores made up of 6 speedy Performance-cores and 8 power-saving Efficient-cores, the Intel Core i7-13700H offers impressive multitasking capabilities for content creators and software developers looking to utilize the Omnia Book as a compact and efficient CPU workstation.
The Core i7-13700H has a standard TDP of 45 watts, but in order to reach peak performance, it may require surpassing this limit, as is the case with all CPUs. Thanks to the dual-fan cooling system of the Omnia Book, the 13700H can sustain a power draw of up to 70 watts, enabling it to deliver exceptional computing power for a lightweight and slim notebook. This ensures exceptional performance for daily tasks and demanding workflows, such as video editing, image manipulation, and code compilation.
NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4060/4070
The initial setup of the Omnia Book includes the integrated Intel Xe Graphics in the CPU, which is perfect for regular tasks that don’t require high graphics performance. This ensures that the fan noise and temperature remain low even when the system is under heavy use.
However, if you need to work on tasks that demand more graphics power, such as video rendering, 3D animation, or gaming, you have the option to choose between the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 and the slightly faster GeForce RTX 4070. Both options come with 8 GB of dedicated GDDR6 graphics memory and a Total Graphics Power (TGP) of 70 watts, thanks to the slim design of the laptop case.
When the CPU load is low and parallel, both GeForce RTX GPUs have the ability to automatically transfer up to 25 watts of additional power from the CPU to the GPU using NVIDIA’s Dynamic Boost technology. This power allocation depends on the specific program running and the overall system load.
GREAT DISPLAY, SMALL PIXELS!
The 34.5 x 21.5 cm 16-inch display offers the ideal compromise between a large screen for working comfortably without the need for an external monitor, and a still compact chassis dimensions at 354 x 245 x 17 mm, which correspond to the size of typical, former 15.6-inch notebooks. In addition to the larger screen compared to usual 15.6 inch displays, the frequently requested 16:10 aspect ratio offers more vertical screen space. The high display resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels (16:10) offers a very finely resolved image for pleasantly legible text, while photos, videos or games benefit from the vivid (100 % sRGB) and bright (400 nits) panel which in combination with its matte panel coating ensures good outdoor usability..
